ខណៈដែលភាពយន្តខ្មែរកំពុងទទួលបានការគាំទ្រកាន់តែច្រើនពីទស្សនិកជន និងទទួលបានជោគជ័យលើទីផ្សារក្នុងស្រុក អ្នកដែលបានខំប្រឹងប្រែងដែលនៅពីក្រោយស្នាដៃទាំងនោះក៏ត្រូវបានផ្តល់ការទទួលស្គាល់អោយសមនឹងកិត្តិយសរបស់ពួកគាត់ផងដែរ។
ទស្សនវិស័យនេះត្រូវបានឆ្លុះបញ្ចាំងតាមរយៈកម្មវិធី Legend Awards 2026 ដែលរៀបចំឡើងកាលពីថ្ងៃទី១១ ខែកក្កដា កន្លងទៅ ក្នុងឱកាសអបអរសាទរខួបគម្រប់ ១៥ ឆ្នាំរបស់ Legend Cinema នៅកម្ពុជា។ កម្មវិធីនេះបានប្រមូលផ្តុំអ្នកសិល្បៈ ផលិតករ និងអ្នកជំនាញក្នុងវិស័យភាពយន្ត ដើម្បីអបអរសាទរនូវស្នាដៃ និងការខិតខំប្រឹងប្រែង ដែលបានចូលរួមចំណែកក្នុងការជំរុញភាពរីកចម្រើននៃវិស័យភាពយន្តខ្មែរមកដល់ពេលបច្ចុប្បន្ន។
ចំណុចដែលធ្វើឱ្យកម្មវិធីកាន់តែមានន័យបន្ថែមទៀតនោះ គឺការប្រគល់ ពានរង្វាន់កិត្តិយស (Honorary Award) ជូនដល់អ្នកស្រី ឌី សាវ៉េត ដើម្បីថ្លែងអំណរគុណចំពោះការលះបង់ ប្រឹងប្រែង និងការរួមចំណែកយ៉ាងធំធេងរបស់លោកស្រីចំពោះវិស័យភាពយន្តខ្មែរ អស់រយៈពេលជាច្រើនទសវត្សរ៍។ ក្នុងនាមជាតារាសម្ដែងជើងចាស់ម្នាក់ដែលទទួលបានការគោរពពីមហាជន លោកស្រីនៅតែជាគំរូ និងជាកំលាំងចិត្តដ៏ធំធេងសម្រាប់សិល្បករជំនាន់ក្រោយៗក្នុងការខិតខំប្រឹងប្រែងបន្តទៅមុខទៀត។
ស្របពេលជាមួយគ្នានេះ តារាសម្ដែងជើងចាស់ ទេព រិនដារ៉ូ បានឈ្នះពាន តួសម្តែងបុរសឆ្នើម (Best Actor) ពីការសម្ដែងក្នុងខ្សែភាពយន្ត ចាស់កំព្រា (The Old Man)។ ការសម្ដែងរបស់លោកទទួលបានការកោតសរសើរពីទស្សនិកជន និងគណៈកម្មការវាយតម្លៃ ដែលបានបង្ហាញពីសមត្ថភាពសម្ដែងដ៏មានទេពកោសល្យ និងបទពិសោធន៍ជាច្រើនឆ្នាំរបស់លោក។

កញ្ញា សុន ទេពបំណង បានទទួលពាន ពានរង្វាន់តួសម្តែងនារីជំនាន់ថ្មីឆ្នើម (Best New Actress) ខណៈដែលលោក ប៊ុន សំខាន់ ទទួលបានពាន តួសម្តែងបុរសជំនាន់ថ្មីឆ្នើម (Best New Actor) សម្រាប់ការសម្ដែងក្នុងភាពយន្ត «សែនឆ្ងាយក្បែរអ្នក»។ ចំណែកឯអ្នកស្រី វណ្ណ សម្ផស្ស បានឈ្នះពាន តារាសម្ដែងស្រីឆ្នើម (Best Actress) ពីការសម្ដែងក្នុងភាពយន្ត «កូននេនម្តាយខ្មោច»។

As Cambodian films continue to attract bigger audiences and earn stronger support at the local box office, the people behind those stories are also receiving well-deserved recognition.
That was the spirit of the Legend Awards 2026, held on 11 July as part of Legend Cinema’s 15th anniversary celebration. The event brought together filmmakers, actors and industry professionals for an evening dedicated to celebrating the achievements that have helped move Cambodia cinema forward.
Among the night’s most meaningful moments was the presentation of the Honorary Award to veteran actress Dy Saveth. For decades, she has been one of the defining faces of Cambodian cinema, and the award recognized the lasting impact she has made through her work both on and off the screen. Her career continues to inspire younger generations entering the industry today.
Another highlight of the evening was Tep Rindaro receiving the Best Actor Award for his performance in The Old Man. His portrayal of the film’s central character earned praise from audiences and judges alike, adding another memorable achievement to his long career.
The film also emerged as one of the biggest winners of the night, taking home Best Feature Film and Best Script. Beyond the awards, The Old Man has also become the highest-grossing Khmer film among this year’s leading local releases, reflecting the growing confidence audiences have in Cambodian storytelling.
The celebration wasn’t only about honoring established names. Several rising stars were also recognized for performances that left a strong impression over the past year.
Son Tepmoeng was named Best New Actress, while Bun Mong received Best New Actor for their performances in Sen Laeng Bei Neuk. Meanwhile, Vann Samphos earned the Best Actress Award for her role in Kon Nen Mue Khin, further highlighting the depth of talent emerging across the local film industry.
While the trophies celebrated individual achievements, the evening carried a bigger message. The success of recent Khmer productions, together with the recognition of both veteran artists and new faces, reflects an industry that continues to grow in both quality and audience support.
As Legend Cinema celebrated 15 years in Cambodia, the Legend Awards 2026 served as more than an anniversary event. It became a reminder that the future of Khmer cinema is being shaped by both the pioneers who laid its foundation and the new generation determined to take it even further.
